YARR AX AXJ RAE.

Although his dysplastic hips would only allow us to enjoy the game of rally for less than a year, Yarr danced and yodeled his way to an AKC RAE title. Along the way he earned 7 High-Combined in Trial Awards with several perfect 100-point scores among them. He qualified to compete for the AKC National Rally Championship, but it was not to be.

Rave On is our border collie work in progress. She is a Texas dog from the same strong Guttridge lines as Lincoln. OFA has certified her hips are good and elbows normal. Genetic testing through Optigen has proven that she is clear/normal for CL, TNS, I-GS and a carrier of CEA-CH. Check back for updates on this spirited young Oklahoma border collie Wizard.

(Lock-Eye All American). We purchased this Oklahoma-bred border collie from Lock-Eye Border Collies as a puppy. We had to retire Yarr from agility young, due to severe bilateral hip dysplasia. The same condition caused his retirement from rally in less than one year. Yarr remains a willing warrior. That's the border collie way. Profound physical disabilities have caused immeasurable emotional pain for Yarr (and the people who love him) as he struggles with limits on what "work" he can do.
